Heading for the day that will mark the unveiling of the Angry Birds Star Wars II episode, here’s another relishing, galactic update to warm you up: Angry Birds Cosmic Crystals, featuring an extraordinary sequence of levels with crystal, “cracking” planets, astounding atmosphere and covetous Pigs while introducing a lunatic mutant Space Pig!
In particular, this new update embodies:
30 new levels highlighting fantastic gemstone planets whose treasured jewels have made the rapacious Pigs go crazy! Just to get a notion, gems and jewels in this episode are worth 3,000 points!
An Eggsteroid level; for the time being, little information is available, but definitely more will be revealed in due course!
Three brand new Antenna levels, which you can get hold of as soon as you secure three stars on levels 7-1 and 7-10, one on 7-11 through 7-20, and another one on 7-21 through 7-30.
A new Sardine Can level; to unlock it, you need to pick up 30 feathers on all levels, with the help of Space Eagle – and be prepared, that may turn out to be tricky!
A concluding boss fight against a loony Space Pig with a terrifying eye on its forehead, the “Mutant Pig”!
A remarkable trait of this Angry Birds update has to do with the tendency of the crystal planets to burst and release gigantic, devastating energy! That feature has been branded “Cracking Planets”, and causes the gravitational field to contract and expand (once the crystal barrier is wrecked), forcing crystal particles and debris to be hurled to every direction!
